Cemetery researcher documents Jewish burials in Montreal, including on Mount Royal
A Montreal genealogist has spent years cleaning, photographing and researching the burial sites of Jews, some of which are on Mount Royal and date back to the 1800s.
The Canadian Jewish News recently published an audio interview with Gary Perlman, a cemetery researcher and retired software developer. He posts his data online for posterity, so families can find out more about their ancestors.
